Dear Friends,
Happy summer days! I hope this message finds you well. We have been hard at work refining our offerings at Dharma College and are excited to share some significant updates with you.
1. New Digital Brochure
We have created a new digital brochure that beautifully expresses our vision and mission. I have attached it here and encourage you to take a look and share it with your friends and family. Once you sign up for a class, we'd love to send you a copy of our new brochure.
2. Welcoming New Teaching Assistants and Guest Faculty
We are pleased to introduce our new team of teaching assistants: Thomas Rogowski, Arwyn Wilkinson, and Carl Pilcher, who will be joining Bram Williams, Simon Cook, and Angela Bushaway in assisting with classes this year. Their dedication and expertise will be a tremendous asset to our community.
We also welcome Peter Fenner, Eric Lichtman, and Bob Pasternak as guest faculty members. They will be offering advanced seminar-based classes to our senior student body. You can read their bios here.
3. New Mentorship Program
We are excited to offer a mentorship status to anyone who has taken at least three of our 200 and 300 level classes. As mentors, they can take any 100 level classes for free and receive significant discounts on 200 and 300 level classes in exchange for mentoring newcomers to the College. We will be contacting you shortly with this new program.
4. New Initiatives: ISEOM (Institute for Extraordinary States of Mind) Launched
We are thrilled to announce the formation of the Institute for Extraordinary States of Mind (ISEOM) under the auspices of Dharma College. ISEOM is dedicated to exploring and understanding profound states of consciousness. Enclosed, you will find the mission and vision of the Institute, which now includes our new scientific officers, Professor Soham Rej and Dr. Gabriella Torres-Platas.
