Course Description

Most of us spend far more time than we realize living inside stories about ourselves.

Stories about who we should be. Stories about what we lack. Stories about what went wrong in the past or what might go wrong in the future. We become so im-mersed in these narratives that we rarely stop to question whether they are true or whether they are who we really are.

The result is often a life shaped by anxiety, self-doubt, overthinking, and the persis-tent feeling that peace, confidence, or fulfillment always seem just beyond reach.

Yet what if the very self we struggle to improve is not the whole story?

In these three six-week journeys, Robin Caton invites us to explore a profound possibility: that beneath the layers of fear, judgment, striving, and habitual thinking lies a deeper dimension of awareness one that is naturally open, wise, compassionate, and free.

Drawing on more than thirty years of study with Tibetan meditation master Tarthang Tulku and insights from her new book The Undreamed Self, Robin offers a practical and deeply human path for recognizing the patterns of mind that create suffering and discovering the freedom that exists beyond them.

Through guided reflection, experiential exercises, contemplative inquiry, and meaningful discussion, participants will learn how to meet anxiety with greater ease, loosen the grip of self-limiting beliefs, and cultivate qualities of joy, compassion, presence, and inner resilience.

Who Is This Course For?

In a culture that constantly encourages us to become someone better, this course offers a refreshing alternative. Rather than endlessly fixing, improving, or reinventing ourselves, we begin to explore what becomes possible when we recognize the whole-ness and intelligence already present within us.

This is not another self-improvement program.

It is an invitation to awaken to a deeper way of being one that brings greater clarity, authenticity, and freedom into every aspect of life.

As our familiar assumptions soften, a new relationship with ourselves and the world can emerge. What we discover may be far richer, more spacious, and more liberating than we ever imagined.

The freedom you seek may not be something you need to create.

It may already be here, waiting to be recognized.

This course is open to people of all backgrounds who are seeking a more grounded, meaningful, and joyful way of living.

Combining contemplative insight with practical application, this course offers a foun-dation for lasting inner transformation that can be lived, explored, and tested in the midst of everyday experience.

Oda Y.

“As a former California, Michigan and Ohio public school teacher, big city newspaper photo-journalist and law assistant once myself, I feel that Robin is an outstanding teacher. Not only does she get her message across well with her beautiful musical voice but she makes sure we have useful practice material to help us between classes. What impresses me most is how she tunes in to the universe to let the universal intelligence flow through her. So, she is a perfect example of what she teaches. To me, she’s a true student practicing Tibetan Buddhism herself and not just ‘talking’ it. I am very thankful to have her for a teacher”
