Self-Care and the Joy of Ease – An Introductory Online Course
Level 100
Thursdays, 10-11:30 Pacific Time, September 11th to October 16th 2025
Description
Many people today feel at least partly out of balance. Whatever the causes, the results tend to be the same: our bodies may battle with stress; our communication may become less fresh and overly automatic; emotions may too quickly be reactive. Our thoughts prone toward distraction or negativity may not always be our reliable friend. If this sounds familiar, rest assured that we can learn effective approaches to transform our thinking, feeling, and being. We can access deeper enjoyment and meaning directly within our felt experience. Self-Care and the Joy of Ease is based on time tested Indian and Tibetan Buddhist insights that have been translated into non religious, secular terms meant for our times.

“loved every minute of this course, and I’ve learned a huge amount… about meditation, about life, about teaching, and about myself. Thank you Elon and to all the other students. Really looking forward to continuing with you.”
Simon C.
“Elon has an astonishing ability to condense and clearly articulate complex ideas in a way that makes them accessible to everyone. He is an inspired and inspiring teacher… caring, spontaneously responsive, and thorough. This course has been extremely valuable for me, giving me a wider context, filling in some gaps I didn’t realise were there, and leading to a clearer sense of how many different kinds of practice fit together. It’s been a real privilege to participate in this course with Elon.”
