Knowing Time – Online Course

May 9,2017 - Jun 13,2017 Time: 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Tuesdays, May 9th – June 13, 9:30am-11am Instructor: Robin Caton Revelations of Mind leads us on an exploration of mind, time and the nature of reality. What do we find at the smallest point of re-cognition, the “unit of experience that allows perception to take place”? How does the dynamic of time create a field of opportunity for the mind? The more we understand, the more reactive patterns slow, releasing the fear of impermanence. Natural clarity and inner light then have space to appear. The technology we use allows active participation in class discussion from students everywhere!

Perspective and Boundaries: The Limits of Being Me

May 10,2017 - Jun 14,2017 Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesdays, May 10-June 14, 5:30 – 7pm Instructor: Robin Caton What does it mean to be ‘me’ in the world? Is the mind locatable in space and time? Can the likes and dislikes, needs, wants and emotions that currently define us shift as easily as a dream? In this new course we will look closely at the inner ‘perspectives and boundaries’ that appear to establish I, Me, Mine, and Mind. The ongoing nature of identity may not be as real as it seems. With more understanding of what it is simply ‘to be’, there is more ease and a greater freedom of choice.

Path to Wholeness

May 10,2017 - Jun 14,2017 Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Wednesdays, May 10-June 14, 10:30am-12pm Instructor: Robin Caton We continue our year-long journey into understanding mind. Dimensions of Mind and Keys of Knowledge, new texts by Tarthang Tulku, open a path to wholeness, which, as the author says, is never wholly for ourselves. For real wholeness is always communicated to others in spreading ripples of positive influence and deep appreciation.” This term, we focus on how to question mind.

Beyond the Dualism of Subject and Object

May 10,2017 - May 24,2017 Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesdays, May 10-May 24, 5:30-7pm, Instructor: Jack Petranker Studying the mind encourages us to ask questions that usually go unexplored. One of the most fundamental questions is the identity of the one who is asking. The operation of the self as doer, questioner, and experiencer is basic to our experience. But if we ask lightly, we can find a way into the center, where experience arises differently. This continuing course works with Dimensions of Mind and is for those who have taken “Self-Liberation” or who have the consent of the Instructor.
