Meaningful inquiry into how mind shapes the world. Perception is structured by preconception. Opening the Center

Instructor: Jack Petranker

Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00 pm, May 16th – June 27th
(no class May 23; we will hold a make-up class)

When we cling tightly to our positions, we squeeze ourselves into tight corners. We end up with a set of fixed beliefs and then sacrifice our happiness and well-being by making sure that the positions we establish are never challenged. Yet in the true center of experience, those positions lose their hold. In the center, we are everywhere at once. We can make freedom our home.

Seeds of Understanding

Instructor: Abbe Blum

Saturdays, 11:00 am- 12:30 pm, May 19th – June 23rd

In this course, we look directly at the knowing aspect of mind called ‘understanding’. Triggered by instead acknowledging not understanding, and deepened through inquiry, understanding can move mind beyond superficial patterning to deeper levels of knowing. Once released from constrictions of its own making, mind manifests joy and appreciation.

Pre-requisite: One other course in Revelations of Mind or Dimensions of Mind, or consent of the instructor.
